Community, Design + Build

donate
Building on a deep legacy of community engagement, SFNOMA is your local design advocacy platform.  We work closely with communities and community leaders to develop experiences, tools, designs and fabrication services that help citizens to structurally change their environment in a manner that reflects the issues that matter to them and their communities.  Whether you're a skilled photographer, a design enthusiast, or a public activist, there are plenty of opportunities to get backstage, get down and dirty, and get engaged in a civic design or construction activity.

To initiate contact with a member whose beliefs align with your community's values, email: info@sfnoma.net

Build Awareness

Piloting & Prototyping is a key part of identifying final solutions that meet community needs. After identifying issues and creating a vision, we can facilitate solution tests and iterate from what we learn.  Testing and Feedback is key to successful outcomes.
